Because of the huge number of articles, this archive is divided into sections:

Usually Week 1 has some easy plays; the public’s eyes are still glazed over from last year’s playoffs teams, and hot rookies. The slow and steady win the race here. |

The Prognosticator - Week 2
Tony Holm, "The Prognosticator"
Sep 14, 2007 |

Ummm ... the Chiefs stink. Bad. I like
Herm Edwards as a coach, I really do, but this is a team in transition with a lot of problems that can't be fixed over night. You know that
Chicago Bears Defense you spent that high draft pick on? Rejoice! Look for the Bears to actually look good on offense as they out play the Chiefs up and down the field.

Week One passed us by like a fat kid passes up a salad, but what a week it was! Well, not really. To be honest, I thought it was a boring and lackluster weekend of football. Also, something must be done about those cheaters in New England. Randy Moss is back from his two year vacation. Did I ever mention how much I hate Tony Romo? If that wasn't enough, I have an exclusive interview with
Tyler Youngren. I don't know who he is, either. Sorry, it's the best we could do on short notice. There is all kinds of fun and games behind the curtain if you care to take a peak.

Week One is in the books, and many millions of fantasy owners are already regretting draft day. I will let you in on some of my observations that might help you in the coming weeks. For one,
Lamont Jordan played
like the 2005 version of himself, granted vs the Lions, but he ran
really hard and caught the ball out of the backfield better than any
back in the league this past Sunday. |

The Prognosticator - Week 3
Tony Holm, "The Prognosticator"
Sep 21, 2007 |
 |
 |
Honestly, I'm still chuckling over the Browns and their 51 points last week. I mean really? Can anyone do anything but chuckle at that? Why is it funny? I don't know, but there's just some funny element to the Browns scoring 51 points to withstand a 45 point whoopin' of their defense. Before you run out to get yourself the latest in dog-pound mask apparel, give it some time, things are still a lot wrong in Cleveland. Jamal Lewis another bright spot this week as the Browns try and win one, the conventional way, and succeed. Don't get used to it! But back to back wins are coming home to Cleveland.

Coaches say they'll know what their teams are all about at the beginning of October. Here at Fantasysharks.com, we'll know the "true" Studs after week three. Look for adjustments to the Studs list starting next week.
Hasselbeck has been average thus far in
weeks one and two throwing for 503 yards and two TDs in the first two
weeks of the season. Look for Hass and the Seahawks to post big numbers
against a Bengals defense that was shredded last week by Derek Anderson
and the Browns for 328 yards and five TDs. |
